Dr. Nguyen Truong Chung (MD, PhD) has more than 20 years of experience in the field of hematology, especially in the treatment of diseases related to hematology, immunology, biochemistry such as anemia due to iron deficiency, anemia due to chronic kidney disease, Thalassemia (congenital hemolysis), Hemophilia A and B, blood clotting disorders, immune thrombocytopenia bleeding, proliferative diseases and bone marrow disorders, blood cancers
Dr. Chung has a PhD in Cancer Immunology at Chonnam National University (Korea). He also participated in intensive training courses in Hematology, Immunology, Stem Cells and Genetic Molecular Medicine in Korea and the USA (Mayo Clinic).
Dr. Chung is currently in charge of the Clinical Hematology Unit and Deputy Director of the Laboratory Center – Saint Paul General Hospital.
Training process:
– Graduated as a general practitioner at Hanoi Medical University.
– Graduated from the MSc/Specialist I program with a major in Molecular Medicine and a doctorate in Cancer Immunology at Chonnam National University (Korea).
– Participating in intensive training courses in Hematology, Immunology, Stem Cells and Genetic Molecular Medicine in Korea and at Mayo Clinic, USA.
– Participated in many research projects published in the world’s leading medical journals.
