Dr. Nguyen Duc Thuan (MD, PhD) has 14 years of working experience in the field of neurology and the treatement of neuropathic pain, neurodegenerative diseases and dystonia such as Parkinson’s disease, hemifacial spasm, neck dystonia; cerebrovascular diseases such as cerebral stroke, chronic cerebral ischemia…; epilepsy; VII nerve palsy. Dr. Thuan is in charge of pain treatment techniques such as cervical and lumbar epidural injections, nerve blockade, techniques for the treatment of dystonia (Dystonia) by injecting Botulinum Toxin A (Dysport, Botox).

Dr. Thuan has a PhD from the Charite Medical University Berlin, Germany and participated in many short-term training courses specializing in Neurology in Romania, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines. He participated in preparing Neurology training textbooks for the University level and research works, scientific reports on Cerebral Stroke, Anti-Pain, Neurodegenerative Diseases such as Parkinson’s and Myasthenia gravis.

Dr. Thuan is currently the Vice Director of the Department of Neurology, 103 Military Hospital. He’s in the main charge of the electro-neuromuscular diagnostic technique and being a Professor of Neurology, Military Medical Academy.
